Looking for an alternator for a 70 455. Early May build date on car. Will take anything needing rebuilding also.

Are you looking for a 37 amp or 55 amp. If it is a regular 455 car and not a Stage 1, then the correct alt would depend on whether the car came with AC or not. Thee are places that sell/refurbish alternators. It's not cheap but I had to go to one to find the right alt for my 69 car. Duane
Duane, The car is a non stage with AC. I have one dated 66, no where near what I would like but its not all that important. Its not a numbers matching car but I am trying to get it as close to original in appearance and NOS pieces as possible.
Mike, Contact Stellar on here. It's possible he may have close to what you're looking for. He just rebuilt the date coded one I got from Dave Johnson and was very reasonable. He also did my voltage regulator as well.
