Alt ID???

    How do tell if my alternator is a internal or external regulated???

    If you are using the Delco original, look at the connections labelled 1+2. If they look like this- -, they are internally regulated. If they look like this l l, it is externally regulated. Ray

    Thanks Ray!!! It looks like the pervious owner has an internal regulated alt running thru the external regulator. Thanks alot!!!
