Help... Im working on cleaning up my engine bay and other stuff. And in trying to sort out what the previous owner did to the electrical system I opened a rats nest of aborted mess. I have the directions from biuck performance and the 69 wiring diagram but there are some colors missing. The purple and blue wire are unmolested as is one of the red power wires. The pink butt connector connect a white and black cloth covered wire. I did not originally do this just cleaned it up. The red wire abortion is a mess. And the two green (right) and the black wires(laying on the intake) has no connectors at all...

This project is begining to take too WAY TOO LONG!!!! I just want to get it running and out of the garage..... Plus the voltage regulator is still on the fire wall and connected!!! Im so lost... Help please!!!

Well the pink wire is supposed to be spliced to a cloth resistor wire to power your coil if you have a pionts style distributor. You should have one dark green wire that goes to your water temp switch. Your large red wires should be solder spliced together, one leg to the starter, one leg to the old regulator, one to the alternater output and one leg to the firewall connector. You should also have a yellow wire that runs down to the starter (I don't see it in the picture). Two dark blue wires, one to the oil pressure switch and one from the regulator connector to the alternator connector. You should also have a white wire running from the regulator connector to the alternator connector. You should have a 12ga reg wire with a fusible link running straight from the starter to the firewall connector. Looks to me like a new engine harness is in order. I think you can order them already converted.
I got rid of a bunch of wiring when I went to a one-wire CS130.
