    Flint?

I would ask for the transmission data. If it is either a "BB" or "OW" its should be the real thing.

The build sheet lists option WE5, which is the factory UPC code for a Stage1 emblem either on the fender or a decal on the air cleaner (I'm not sure which one).

Looks like a legit factory '71 Stage1 based on the Freemont CA buildsheet.

    Nice grille :Brow:

Marco. I wish you would buy it for me. Things are a little tight for me right now.:ball:

    Well.. that takes the cake..

I must say, I have never seen a car that needs our brake booster replating service more....:Dou:

    Orange? :Do No:

Would have been a well spent $150.00...

    IT could look like this..

How much more would he get for it, if it did.. (just the booster, not the rest of the deal here..)

I would have to say he would get a grand more at least. It would make the car look like it was restored soooooo much nicer than having a half #$#@ job done on the booster. ...... ( this comes from someone that painted his booster :Dou: ) You will be doing mine some time down the road :TU:

Check to make sure that build sheet matches the car VIN-

Also, there are lots of parts that should be number matching that are easy to lose over 30 years of beating on a car - carb, distributor, core support, yada yada... not to mention the block. I'd want to look at the car up close before I bid.

On second thought, that green is a really nasty color - might not want to get too close.

Also looks like it has an HEI, was it available that year?

In a word....nope. Build sheet also says came with 14x6 steel wheels with hubcaps, not rallye's. Man, that is an ugly color combo..lime mist with green vinyl top. Yuck!!

It is an ugly color combo, but I like it! Lime mist is one of my favorite buick colors, along with the seamist green from '70. Will be interesting to see what the car goes for...

The buildsheet should also mention the L75 (455 stage1) option.

    r72gs Another project........

Worse yet...It looks like CHEVY ORANGE!

For some reason, in 71 only the WE5 actually appeared on the window sticker instead of L75 like in 70 and 72. Both codes should be on the buildsheet. Y43 was for the parts to put a 455 into a a body chassis.

Wrong hood scoop grilles too...if you buy it , I have a set I might part with....

Would look much better with black top and interior IMHO...

That thing was on em\bay a few months back. It came from Palm Springs, I believe. There is something strangely cool about that Lime Mist color...
