Well I bought a Alpine MRV-450 V12 Amplifier and I'm hearing mixed reveiws on this all ready. I was at a high end stereo store and they said it was "a ok amp but not very ballzee". Then another said it was a clean powerful amp . I've been using a Tsunami GXE 660 6-channel (RIP) :ball: and now tring to stay with Alpine. I'm running Eclipse from and rear and a single 10" DVC Infinity sub in a Q-Logic box and it didn't sound half bad and hoping the Alpine amp is a improvment. If anyone knows of a Alpine installer please ask for his input on this and the other post on XM installation on a earlier post, Thanks AL :beer
I have that amp in my Park Ave, the sound quality is great but it is not a very powerful amp. I have the gains almost all the way up, with no distortion at all.

Mine's in tri-mode pushing a 12" single Cerwin-Vega sub and two 4X10s in the deck :Brow: I've had it in the car for a while with no real complaints at all. I've had more powerful amps that were rated similarly, but this one's better for sound quality.
Now Going To Crossfire Well guys I got my Alpine V12 MRV-F450 the other day and the box had a big hole in it and looked like it was dropped on something hard :af: . I open the box and found the cover damaged and e-mailed the place I got it and as me if the damage was just cusmedic and does it still work :af: . Anyone that has any electrical background would not keep something like this, so I send it back for the insurance claim from the shipper. Now after the post you guys sent me I'm now going with a Crossfire VR-705D 5 channel amplifier, AL.
Same Amp Going in Now I have the same amp (Apine V12) going in right now. It will not be driving the sub (using a powered bazooka). It's a pretty trick set up with an iPod interface and all. Will post how it turns out in a couple of weeks.
