I need a good, functional AC expansion valve off of a '65-'67 Skylark/Special/GS ('64 is different, so I can't use it). Mine is not working and the system freezes up right behind it. It can be checked off the car by blowing through it with low pressue air--it should let air flow freely. If not, it has lost its CO2 charge in the capillary tube. By the way, you have to take the fender off to get it off the car if someone happens to have one on a parts car.
I still need a good, functional expansion valve. I can't get the AC working on my GS until I have one. I don't want one of the aftermarket ones since they don't look at all like the factory Frigidaire style. The expansion valve off of any '64-'72 A-Body factory AC system is the same.
