How do I pull off the clutch on my A/C compressor, it seems to be stuck, that means the compressor will turn all the time, even with the A/C shut off... I have checked the solenoid and it works...
You will need an A/C clutch puller, a speciality tool availble from http://www.harborfreight.com/ as well as others.
By "checked the solenoid", I assume you've unplugged the wires from the clutch...if you haven't, start there. I've heard of these clutches slipping, but not many of them locking up...might try to (carefully) pry the clutch plate away from the pulley, see if you can get it to let go. Good news is, you can change out the clutch without losing your refrigerant charge, unlike several new compressors...
