While everyone is bickering about someone leaving a burnout in Norwalk, there's bigger and better things going on in Massachusetts!
Voujah-Day!!!!! Johnno.... I Feel Your Pain Man!!! Right now, I am in exactly the same boat you are. We are freshing up my Stage 1 Engine, and installing a new cam and lifters....Hopefully, I will make it to Bowling Green with my car also. However, I still have my fenders on my car...... Good Luck!!!! John
Best of luck with the new engine Johnno. Watch those high rpm rev's when your...heating them up. I did some checking and found out where Johnno stock piles his used up tires ou:
Johnno! Great news that you're finally making the swap. But I have 2 questions: 1) Why did you pull the fender? and 2) You DID lay a blanket on your roof before laying the hood up there, right??? :eek2:
Alright, I'll ask the obvious question............What numbers did the new engine make on the dyno? I wouldn't worry too much about the "stuck throttle" at the Holidome.......we've been kicked outta better places!! Dave
Yards...I pulled the fender to gut out the rest of the A/C stuff on and behind the cowl. And sorry no blanket on the roof. The car is in obvious need of paint so scratches and dings are'nt a big deal right now. Beleive me paint and interior are in the future but the Big Block set me back a few $$$$$.
Don't worry about the trans, you can always take it back to the shop in Butte, MT that rebuilt it. :moonu:
Hey Johnno.Nice dyno #`s :TU: Looking forward to hearing that puppy at Jeffs. Not to worry about a few nicks and scratches,I believe most of our "Drivers" fall into that catagory  Later,Tony
I feel your pain, brother..... :TU: I understand exactly where you are on your car this week. Only real problem I have is my engine is 100+ mi. away, unassembled, and hasn't been on the dyno yet. In fact, we are still waiting for some parts. Looks like we are gonna make it though. ERE has never let me down yet!!! John By the way....I did use a quilt.........
I have a 565 HP 470 built by AMP and it pulls like a runaway freight train!!!!! They are the best :beer :beer All I can say is get ready for some serious power :TU: At the risk of sounding like a potato head, whats up with the oil filter?
