I don't know the legality of this website all I know is that I downloaded Adobe software really cheap last night and thought I should share my good fortune. http://www.prixsoft.com/
can save yourself about 700 in photoshop alone. downloading is always kinda scetchy though. i prefer to barrow it from a friend or work. make sure its not just a trial or partial version. pete
Backup CD's are what they are...... it's a version of software piracy that skirmishes around the law. You will get a CD-R ...... Mike
it's still illegal whether they backup it up or not.. they legally cannot provide this as a service.. odd its still around.. EDIT: i just called adobe (since i'm looking for a student discount of this software anyway) and they've claimed that these are indeed software pirates at work and the man i spoke to stated that he does not know whether or not they can legally stop them... but what you will notice is that you probably did not get a serial number with the product you bought.. if they did send you one then it is definately illegal... their terms of service there state that they are indeed selling you a "backup" copy of the software.. which is legal for you to have, whether or not they can distribute these is something i am not totally sure on. the best way to get adobe software cheap is to be a student... this is where i buy some of my student discount software... http://www.academicsuperstore.com/index.html? for anyone interested
We used to do this in college for extra cash... Sell on ebay until they banned us, then found other auction sites to put them on.. Pretty lucrative! But illegal.
