Adj idle on 66 GS

    Having trouble setting idle on AFB. Will not go below 575. (its not on high cam).
    Any thoughts. Very drivable as is but would like it set right. (500 rpm)

    That rpm is just right....if you want to lower it some more ,,, start checking all the vac hoses ect for a small leak....

    Do you have the thin steel shim/heat-shield installed between the carb and intake?
