Adding additional lights into the turn signal circuit?

    Hey,

How close would you think the fuse rating is to the actual output of all the lights on the turn signal circuit? I have some additional lights I want to install onto the front of the car, connected in with the front turn signals/running lights. Is this a good idea? I don't want to be blowing fuses or heating up the wires. I mean, adding two 1157 bulbs into the circuit probably doesn't add hardly anything in terms or amperage...does it?

If for example your pressent circuit uses 4 1157 bulbs simultaneously and you added two more it would add 50% to the load of the circuit.

If you want to figure the additional amperage on a 12 volt DC circuit divide the wattage of each bulb by 12 and add the figues together. This is the additional amperage you will add to the circuit.
