Try turning your google toolbar off. It may be forcing you to go to it's page instead since they don't want you using netscape.com's search.
adaware First post has problems with pop-ups. I did, too, when I had AOL. Got rid of dialup and have a highspeed cable hookup--no more pop-ups. I've used ADAWARE for some months now. I run it a couple times a week. I delete everything. Then delete the quarantined files, too.
Sounds like classic spyware. A program running in the background letting all that crap. Control-Alt-Delete, click the processes tab, then list everything that is running when the problem is happening. Maybe we can help. Or email me privately if you like.
