Brian, I always liked those but I am not a convertible man like you are. In high school (1981) my girlfriend inherited a 71 cutlass from her grandma. It had 5,000 miles on it and still smelled new. Why doesn't stuff like that happen to me? That rocket 350 was fast. Within 12 months she got in four wrecks and had every body panel damaged, it was very sad. The car didn't last and niether did the girlfriend.
Sadly, this fellow's spelling and grammer is on par with most of the Craigslist world. I've seen worse, that's for sure! I often wonder if the rest of the modern world is looking at these online ads and thinking, "Those American idiots don't know English as well as us Germans".
Eric, I am always a Buick man first! Ha-ha. I know of a similarly sad A-body tale. My neighbor's brother was selling a '71 Stage 1 hardtop the next town over. This was 1980. Loaded. Nice. Stock.$850.00. My Father wouldn't co-sign so I had to pass. I tell a friend and his burn out buddy buys it. With in two months both quarter panels are caved in and the N-25 is bent. Never saw it again after that. :ball:
