Who's the 'tissue dispenser' expert here? I recently got something called a 'junior dispenser' that is supposed to mount on the bottom of the door. Never saw this before..as I always thought they were under-seat or under dash. Anybody got any info for me? Thanks, Stanley
tissue Stanley, I have seen these before, they usually come boxed in a set of 2, one for each door - The are not in the 67 or 69 Books, and not in the 72 Books so, maybe someone could let us know if they showed up in 70 or 71
Tissues? Keith.. Good to know that someone else has seen these. The plastic box is stamped with 'Adell Industries Inc, Detroit Michigan', which was (is?) an auto accessories manufacturer. No dates,though, in the plastic. Do you know what size tissue box was suppoed to fit in these? I didn't get any instruction sheet(s), so I am seeing how much everybody else knows. Stanley
I have an NOS pair of them (in one box) with the instructions if you want me to dig them out. They do show up in the '68 accessories book. :beer
I dug out the instructions. The tissue box says 8.5" x 6.2", 72 Tissues. Kleenex brand. The GM part number for the tissue dispenser (pair) is group 8.891 part number 981399. :beer
parts book the 69 barts book list is as 68-69 although this is common to include years before or after if it will fit - it appears though that it was a 68 accessory and then dropped as it's not listed in any of the 69 accessory listings. These show up on ebay with some frequency

I think logo accessories make a car more interesting at a local cruise (along with the ever-eye-catching window sticker..that pulls in a lot of lookers!!)
