Does anyone know what size AC pulley was used on a 71GS 455 4spd with a 3.42 gear?

    Thanks

    David,

If you are asking about the pulley that is part of the A/C compressor, it should be 5" in diameter.

    Hope this answers your question,

    Larry

5 3/4" I believe, the Stage1 got the bigger pulley with the 3.42's

    Larry,

I was of the understanding that the larger pulley was a 1970 item only. Of course, I've been wrong before.

    The standard engine too.

I've seen that pulley on Trans-camaros too and in a junk yard I just visited yesterday. Thought about absconding with it - but how much spare junk do I need?

I have a friend with a 72 original car. It has the bigger pulley.
