I am still on the fence as whether or not to turn my GS into a non-AC car. I know this is alot of work but the expense of replacing an Ac system adds significantly to a restoration. Condenser about $250, evaporator about $250 i also saw a Fridgadaire POA valve for $650!!!! Mine is still good I think. No way I want to re-use my ugly old steel to hose AC lines. I have painted them before but that is peeling off. I found two companies , Aircoparts and Classic Auto Air that say they repair or fabricate original hoses. Anybody use them or any others. Success or failures?? I would want them to look original or why spend the money. the AC systems in these cars are a waste of space and are ugly in my opinion so if I am going to fix the system they might as well look their best.
