I've owned my 85 Century Wagon about 4 years and did a complete (sub)frame off restoration as my A to B ride. I had all the parts to fix the A/C (compressor, dryer, restrictive screen, R-12 oil, R-12 frigerent). I work nights so this has not been a biggie untill I drove out to my painter's shop in the miiddle of the day and saw it was 115 degees in the car!!!! Well I see why I but this one off so long, if anyone has worked on a FWD V6 Century knows what I mean, what a "PITA". Anyway its done and the A/C vent reminds me of a freezer vent. Man!!! R-12 is the way to go!!!! AL.
