A question about heads

    Ok.... Ive got a 72 Skylark with a 350 2 bbl and I need to replace one of the heads, I have a spare 70 350 2 bbl motor with good heads can I use 70 heads on a 72 block and if so what can I expect as far as performance difference or anythign I should be aware of thanks a lot

    You can use the 70 heads on your 72. The only performance difference you might notice is depending on how much fresher your 70 heads are compared to your 72's. Other than that there are no differences between the castings, except a few cc's in the chambers. That alone won't really change anything powerwise.
