A question about a bolt size.

    What are the dimensions of the bolts,that connect the inspection cover( TH-400) to the TH-400 transmission?

    3/8 head flange with corse threads 1/2in long

    Inspection cover not the pan
    Often times you have to use a larger bolt or a longer one because the threads are boogered or tap them for a 5/16 or helicoil to a 1/4

    They're actually more like sheetmetal screws

    My bad! Theyre not 1/4-20s? ws

    Some were sheet metal screws and some were 1/4 20, not sure why maybe different plant or different years.

    I think SEM is the correct name for them that's whats in the Au ve co catalog anyways, ACE has them in Zinc most the time
