Welcome to the board. Sorry don't know your name but thank you for pics of the new Buick I plan to buy if it ever comes to market.
10:1 odds a Buick THAT nice never makes it to the market. They are famous for cool concepts and lackluster versions of those concepts going to production. Prove me wrong Buick!
THAT needs to be the next Riviera!!!:TU: :bglasses: And...since they're going to axe the 3800 (bad choice) - it may as well have a V8 rumble to it!! If they truly want to bring back the Buick buyers and attract new ones - DO IT RIGHT!!!:Smarty: They're obviously going after the Lexus SC430.....this one better have some serious oats under the hood to beat it!!:3gears:
that car is sweet!!! i'd take one in that color too. wonder what it would look like in gulfstream blue and a white top and interior. there is no way though that car will pass front and rear crash tests though. it dosen't have 7mph bumpers..... we will see this diffrently if it comes out. Nate
Cadillac is getting new motors for their cars and gm is going to use the Northstar(273c.i.v8) in some of the other divisions(buick??). We've got a '98 DeVille that has the Northstar in it and it is pretty fast for a car of its size (mid 5 0-60 and a top speed of 150 (electronic limit))
The portholes are quite cool! It would be nice to see a Buick developed V8 under the hood. I think that GM made a bad strategic choice when they decided that their engines wouldn't be produced by each divisions. Even if the actual 3800 isn't called a Buick engine by GM anymore, we know it is still one! But it is impossible to identify the new generation of GM engines to a specific division... I'd really like to see a new modern aluminium V8 exclusively found in Buicks and a V6 version for smaller Buicks but I don't think it will happen soon or ever!
Wow, I hope that Buick builds this one, and it actually turns out like the prototype. If they keep it as is, I think it looks WAY better than the Lexus SC430... But I can see how they could screw it up and it'll end up looking like a Reatta... :boring:
i would be upset if they called it a riv, unless someone gave me one that would make me feel better. looks nice, got a little boat tail action going on in the butt.
Buick NEEDS to have another Flagship vehicle......what better name than Riviera!? But....they better put it on a quality car!!:TU: :bglasses:
