    Hey folks,

I'm Oliver, 33years old and newly owner of a '67 Skylark with some mods.
I'd owned some other us cars before (05'Mustang, 97'F150, 01'Grand Cherokee H.O.) and made a dream coming true with bying this way of the american lifestyle..

I get my money from the state (police detective), I'm interested in different sports, cars, bikes...

My wife and I love beeing in the US for vacations (mostly eastcoast/ NYC- Key West a couple of times), and for having this feeling every day, I bought the skylark a couple of weeks ago. I love the style and wanted to have the muscle form...

Perhaps some of you could give me some help! I dont know which engine the car has, dont know how to find it out :Brow: and search some guys for getting old stuff to made the restauration finally.

Originally it has been a V6 Coupe, but there is a V8 in it. With some edelbrock parts.. It is difficult to get informations over here, because I only know from one other skylark in germany, and 7 in europe.

I'll poste you a pic of the car later on

Sorry for some mistakes- english isn't the language I normally write

    Kind regards

    Oliver

Please put your first name permanently in your signature :TU:

If AC in your user name stands for Aachen, you should be familiar with the weekly Cruise In Summer Series car show in Brunssum, the Netherlands.
(the former location was in Kerkrade)

German version of their website :Comp:

There are way more Skylarks in Germany, and a lot more in Europe :TU:

That engine looks like a Chevrolet small block, ignition is at the firewall, it's not a Nailhead, so it's not a Buick engine.

It stands for Aachen, but in a traditional way- I don't live there.

Thats what the guy at the registration center told me, while working on the new title.

Now I know that there is a 350 csb in the car

    Kind regards

    Oliver

In the (very small) Buick Club of Germany there are 5 Skylarks.

I have a 67 300 CI that is the correct engine for that car with 10,000 on it. It would cost a fortune to get it over there. The engine you have is a small block Chevy that was also used in the Opel Diplomat in the 70s. There should be parts for that engine in Germany. Bitte ein Bitt!

Diplomats used the 327 engine (Diplomat 5,4) in the 70's, Oliver says he has a 350.

Yes you are correct. As soon as I said that I noticed pics were posted. A lack of attention on my part. As they say in the Navy "One aw sh*t wipes out a thousand add a boys."
