My pal Richie that always comes up here for Cool City classics show went to Morriss last night (he's next door in Dwight, Il.) and send me a dozen piucs of the 13 block long show. What a production. Hus fave of the show was this 455-4 speed car with air AND cruise control. Anybody here?? ws

I wanted to go yesterday but had previous plans. Morris only has one cruise night a month and there are only 3 left. On a day like yesterday where the weather is absolutely perfect there will be over 800 cars in attendance. Morris and the RT66 Berwyn show are the best shows I personally really like in my area. The Oak Brook Father's Day show is also a great one to see huge classic cars from the 20s thru the 30s. I hope to make one Morris show and the Berwyn show yet this year.

Where is the Oak Brook venue? I remember when the mall was built; now look at it! ws

The Oak Brook Father's Day show is at the mall. A lot of Packards, Pierce Arrows, Duesenbergs, Auburns, etc show up.
Seems to be the only place now that one can see cars of that era. But I think I did hear that the same group go up to Geneva or St Charles once a year to.

Its good to see antique iron get togethers too. That's where it all started afterall! The GSX was also at Morriss; its a stage 1 with the 4 speed from an earlier pic. My pal has a smart phone that was on the 6 year plan in High school... ANYONE WE KNOW??? ws
