I purchased a 1970 Buick GS from my Uncle and was going to try to get running and just cruise around and have fun. Well since finding out that my wife is pregenant and we just bought a house some toys need to go!
So on to my question: What is a good estimate for the asking price fro this 1970 Buick GS?
    350/320 HP
have original rims, chrome, and radio

    Congratulations on the news!

On the car front, are you absolutely sure this is necessary? Would 5 or 6 grand really put you over the hump? If you must sell, you must, but it's a shame. I have thought about this problem a bit. I've talked to guys who are say, into firearms and old cars. They sell the car when they have a kid, because they get more money up front than say from the sale of an M-1 Garand. But then later on, which was easier and cheaper to replace? An entire old, collectible car, or some rifles that mostly didn't ever get used? All I'm saying is take a look at all the toys and make realistic assesments on them, you'll be happier later on, I think, no matter what you decide

All the best to your family

    GS value question?

    Hi Eric,

Gold book and NADA value for a running, decent looking, fair condition vehicle is about 5k. I think they are on target so you should be able to judge from there.I'd say $1,500 to $2,500 depending largely on what it will take to get her running again and how bad the body is. It looks to have factory bucket seats and that is a great selling point. Good luck.Your car reminds me of the super low mileage example that was for sale a while back because it was burnished saddle too.It was so low mileage it even had original type rubber!
