A friend needs prayers.

My friend has experienced the death of both her parents in the previous two months. Her daughter was hit by a train on 12/14/03 and is currently in critical condition. Please pray for the mother (Pam) and daughter (Vanessa).

Patrick, I'll offer my prayers also. Working on the railroad for almost 5 years now and I come from a railroad family. Fortunately between my brother, cousin, and I, we've never been involved in an accident with a fatality, and I pray to keep it that way.

 

UPDATE

Thank you for praying for this family. Vanessa is facing a long rehabilitation...up to a year. Providing she survives the infection her body has encountered. I was with the family when the doctor explained the difficulties she needs to over come to survive. It comes down to a 20% chance to at this point. One side of her pelvis is gone and the area has become infected. The doctors cut her open to access the area daily to fight the infection. Please continue to pray for them.
