While searching on the net I found this:http://www.texas442.com/tc/

Amazing to see cars like this you didn't even know existed. Interesting :3gears: :TU:

    Cody,

I posted that car many moons ago on this board,
when we were discussing the X-Camino,
    nice to see it again.

This time I will put that link under my Favorites :TU:

Very cool, and looks like a lot of work was done. I still think the X Camino looks alot better. The Olds hump over the rear wheel looks awkward when grafted onto an El Camino body compared to the smooth lines of a Skylark/GS. :Brow:

I also love the X camino better too, but I thought whomever did this olds did deserve alot of credit. It's very hard to accomplish a customized car like this. I wouldn't mind seeing another X camino :TU: At least by the hump over the rear wheels make it look like a 442/cutlass. :3gears: :TU:

A friend is finishing Ponamino. A 65 Camino wearing all 65 GTO body panels, quarters, tri power, rally 1's, etc. Really cool.

I think the olds looks gorgeous. It's much more of a show car then mine. I like the way they incorporated the original rear bumper. I wonder if the tailgate is functional like mine.

That will be awesome when it's done I bet :TU: If you will be able to get pics that would be cool too, but just the thought of it is cool. Then the fleet will be finished, there will be the X-camino, the olds-camino, the ponamino, and of course the original El camino :3gears:

    There is also a 67 GS-Elcamino around.
A guy in PA built it a long time ago and drove the wheels off it. I have seen pictures and it looked pretty cool, but now after years of use I hear it is all rusted out.

  9. Did this guy cut the back off of a Cutlass and form a bed or did he put Olds front sheetmetal onto an El Camino and then graft Olds accents onto it?

I've seen this critter in person and it is incerdible! I agree with Duane, the back bumper is the most impressive part.

    Nice job....

Out of ALL the performance hood designs GM has had - that one is my favorite.

.....well, OK right behind the '69 GS hood
