I need an a/c hose for my 68 Skylark. The hose I need runs from the muffler to the condenser, in front of the battery. I think it's a 68-69 only part. Attached is a picture showing the hose I need. It's the one with the part number showing.

    Thanks

    Isn't anybody parting out a 68-69 Skylark/GS with air?

That's not the one. The one I need is directly above that in the picture. I apreciate you looking though. I may have to try and get a new one made. I wouldn't have a clue where to have it done but, somebody must do it. :Do No:

    Thanks again

    A/C Line

I may have what you need. I have some A/C stuff left over from a 69 Skylark that was totalled. I know I have the muffler and I think it has a couple of lines attached to it.

Give me a couple of days to dig it and see what I have.

    Thanks,

Thanks for looking, Mike. I knew that since it was 68-69 only I was going to have a problem. The thing that really sucks is that I could go pick up all n.o.s. hoses tomorrow.......all but the one I need. Just my luck!

    A/C Line

    Dave,

Here is a picture of what I have. It came from a 69 Skylark convertible. I also have the long A/C line that comes off the back of the compressor.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for.

    Thanks,

    Larry Gibson

PS. It looks as though it is the correct hose but has the hard end attached to the muffler whereas the shop manual picture shows the flexible end attached to the muffler. ????

The short one is the one I need! It looks like it's been removed and put on backwards but, it looks like the right hose. Does the rubber part look to be in good shape? Not cracked or oily looking?

The hose looks to be in good shape. The rubber is flexible. The metal part of the line just needs to be cleaned with a wire brush or bead blasted.

    How's $20 plus shipping sound?

PM me with your address and I'll box it up and get in the mail soon.

    Thanks,

    Larry
