Can anyone tell me how to change the bulbs in the coach lites? Is this done from the inside or outside. If it's the outside, how do you take them off? Thanks guys, Jimo No:
Jim, You have to replace the entire unit. Shortly after I bought my '90 Riviera back in '93, one of those burned out. And like you, I was trying to figure out how to replace the bulb. I stopped at a Buick dealer and was told you have to order the entire unit at (if I remember correctly) $35.00 each. The parts guy said I might as well order both, because if one went out the other is sure to follow shortly. Well, I didn't have an extra $70.00 to spend so I passed. Sure enough, a couple months later the other burned out, and I just lived with it. Seems there is a small fluorescent bulb sealed inside.
