9" ford

    Hi there are there any companies over there that do a 'drop in' 9" ford set up for a72 Riviera Thanks again

    I have this same question, I found a guy on ebay that would modify a housing for 845 bucks.
    He swore it would bolt in, I guess I am about to pull that trigger and see..

    I used Quick Performance for the 9" axle, carrier, etc in my Skylark. I'd give them a call and see if they can fab up a bolt in one. The prices were super reasonable, but they did ship it in three or four packages (because I guess shipping is cheaper?), which does require the buyer to assemble it. But that works anyways since you'd have to pull the axles to swap on the brake hardware anyways, so its really just a matter of bolting the carrier to the housing, bolt on the brakes, install the axles and add fluid.

    Would try a known outfit such as "Currie" for rear end housing modifications. There should be others, as well - Moser's, Strange, Randy's, etc. Moser years ago had bare nine housings for the 78 - 88 metric cars for $399. Just my two cents.

    Thanks fellas think Curries for a custom build is favourite for me Can anyone tell me the stock axle width drum to drum,,Kinda hard to get to the car right now
