A customer here has quite an interesting piece, and I figured I would throw this out there before I cut all the brackets off it. It's a Chassisworks Fab 9, 9" Ford Rear end housing that will bolt right in a 71-76 Big car (Electra, Riv, Lesabre, Centurion). Not sure if the earlier year stuff is different, as I am most certainly not a big car expert. This rear has all the brackets and spring perches on it, along with the HD back brace. All welded up and ready to go. To build this housing, it would easily be $1800-2K, worth of parts and labor. I will offer the housing for $1200.. you put in your center section and axles. I also have HD lower and Adjustable upper control arms that are required to install the rear housing, for an extra $300. I do have the 35 Spline Axles and a center section with a Detroit Locker and 3.75 gears, as well as rear disc brakes, that could go as a package for a true bolt in deal. I would have to think about the price for the whole package, but it's going to be in the $3500-4K range. But that's a rear that the customer paid upwards of $5500 for new. It's all in excellent shape. Anybody really sick or trying to find a Factory 9 3/8 posi and ready to step up to a really HD piece? I don't imagine you will see something like this for sale again.
