Maybe someone on here will be interested in this.

A friend told me about an '87 Black GN being sold at one of the used dealerships here in town.

Just went over to look at it - took about 12 pics. It was getting dark, so the pics are not the best. I will try and get over tomorrow and gets some more pics (if any interest). I will also try to talk to the owner and get some more information.

With the car lot being closed, my options were limited.

If you want pics, let me know - I will email them out.

    UPDATE: 87 GN - $12k

Ok. I stopped by today after work and talked with the owner.

It is an '87 GN w/ 80k miles. Black with black/grey interior (looks good).

He is the 4th owner of the car and said it has been garage kept.

Problems according to him: compression seal is bad & throttle cable is stiff (probably needs replaced). Nothing else that he knows of.

He said everything is original, minus the air induction system someone rigged up on it. He said it runs nice and still burns tires. When started, it idled very high for a couple minutes. Then dropped down. Engine sounded good.

I looked under the hood, the engine was dirty, but nothing too bad. The underside of the car had some surface rust, but nothing that looks like it is eating through the metal.

    Here is his contact information:
    Freeway Motors
    Troy Bennett
    2489 S. Danville
    Abilene, Tx 79605
    (325) 695-0370

If interested, give him a call. He said he is pretty firm on the price, but who knows.

I took another 13 pics today in the sunlight. Some of the pics have spots on them, this is from the rain last night. Here is the URL to the photos.

If the URL does not work, let me know. I can email the photos.
