Cool Regal, but unfortunately it can never be smog legal in Commiefornia because the engine is older than the car. If the engine was the same year or newer, and had all of the smog equipment, then you could take it to a smog referee and have the inspection done. If it passed inspection and the subsequent smog test, THEN and only then you'd be good to go. I did the process with a Buick V6 powered 4x4 Toyota pickup and it was an utter nightmare. It passed the smog test with flying colors, better than the 4cyl Toyota when new, but due to the bureaucracy it wasn't "legal" because it didn't pass the visual. Do you know how much useless vacuum lines, smog pumps, and other crap were on these things in the '80's?!? :af: I just remembered how much I hated this state...
Would be fine in Michigan too... unless they bring back the emissions test tax to pay for another useless 5 mile rail line.
