This is a totaly stock car, untouched. What auto trans does it have? BOP pattern? Would a th350 and Buick 350 work without cutting the driveshaft?

    hey guy,
first off, what is the tranny your pullin now?
i know it will mount right up to the frame mounts and i think the driveshaft will be fine also go to (JEGS.COM) and order a crossmember for dual exhaust if you haven't already it's only $129.00

It's a freinds car out of town so I haven't gotten under it to check trans the pan shape so I don't know which trans it is. What should it be? Were the 84 v6 trans the same length as a 200-R4 or a th350?

More than likely if its a 3 speed, its a 200c... I dont know if they consided a 4.1 "heavy duty" but it could already have a 350c trans. If its an OD tranny... its a 200 4R... all 3 trannys mount the same and if its a 4.1, its definately a BOP bolt pattern. No matter what tranny you use, you can keep the driveshaft if you swap in a 350 buick motor.
