my 66 special has a 225 v6 and before i throw it away for my cadillac 500(which im gathering all the parts) i want to have some fun with it.i bought a complete 83 buick turbo setup.will everything fit my 225??what can i expect any one played with em before ??
66lark,I find it intresting your doing this.I owne an 83 turbo motor also ,and lately I've been wanting to "have some fun" myself.I don't want to tell you if it will work if I have never done the job before, but I don't think you will have any major setbacks.May I ask how mutch you paid for the engine?I was thinking for tweaking mine is to put the two center billet main caps on,1" carb spacer,71 800cfm carb and possibly 100 shot of spray.What do you think? turbo 225 if you have a complete motor it should bolt in .if just setup should work to but you might need later heads due to intake port size.i think it would be more intersting than a caddy eng. :3gears: andy
