Again, the ebay phenominon at work. I bet if someone listed these again tomorrow they wouldn't even get half of that. It probably just so happened that there were a few people that wanted these at the same time and a bidding war began, and when you get into a bidding war, you don't want to lose. The money at some point almost becomes irrelevent and it becomes all about losing or winning. It really is quite comical. For instance, I remember a while back, mid seventies center caps, (the ones with the black background) kept showing up on ebay, everyone was selling them, and they were far from perfect most of them. People were getting 60 70 100 dollars and more for these things. I had a set of 6 and most were really nice, I figured what the hell, I could use the money and I can't use them on my 69 anyway, so I put them on ebay. One bid. $30 for all six. uzzled: I washed them and took a real nice picture too. Go figure. o No:
