HELP! is the 8.5 in my 83 lesabre the same ring gear as a half ton chevy front end? ive got a possi from a 80"s nova, i was wanting a 342 but some say it will work some say there different. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!!!!
The carrier should be the same but the gears are reverse pattern. If you're using the carrier out of the truck, make sure the spline count is the same.
8.5 gears thanks!!! no ive got a possi carrier i just need gears. ive got 3.08s which aint bad, id just like to go alittle lower.
