Does anyone know what the part number for using an 8.5 3r yoke on a 12 bolt chevy is? or should I just use the 12 bolt seal or the 8.5 seal
Use the normal 8.5 seal (National 2043). Have ran across them used on 12bolts for what you're trying to accomplish. Personally do not assemble 12 bolts with the 8.5 pinion yokes, as it adds the extra length, & most of my customers already have the length of driveshaft they need. For others, Randys Ring & Pinion sells a Spicer 1330 yoke which will work in place of damaged oem 12 bolt 3R pinion yokes. The GM 3R 12 bolt piece was disco'ed over 15 years ago.
