Anyone got one of these for a 68-72 they want to sell? An open with fwy gears is cool, I need something to drop in ASAP. Thanx.
John, I have the original rear from my 72 skylark that I'm not using. It has 2.73 gears in it. I'll PM you too.
rear ..... Hey john...How ya doing ...? I have the 8.2 open 3.23 here if you want it ...I won't be down that way for a bit but I have it still. The 3.42 works great and my son is almost ready for new tires again !! Still looking for a good converter ...swap ?? Mark
Hey Mark. I threw in an 8.2 Chevy out of a Monte Carlo for the interim. Brakes need a rebuild. I don't have any good converters about, but it will be great in that 70. The wagon is at the exhaust shop. Finally got the oil suction mod going OK (went w/9/16) and added a 3/8 line from the sender to the right rear. Keep in touch.
