A friend of mine converted his 67 Chevelle over to a 4 Speed and the 10 bolt 2:56 is not working well. It has a open rear now and he is looking for a something in the 3:42 to 3:55 range to make the 327 work better with the newly installed 4-Speed manual transmission. I figure a complete set up would avoid problems as far as drive shaft and bolt up issues. If I don't hear back on this post I will more then likely install a set of 3:55 or 3:42 gears as a kit, Thanks, AL.

Thats not to far away. I'm just not sure on the changes that would be needed because the one that is in there is a 10 bolt. Do you know what year and model car its from? Thanks for your follow up :beer , AL.

I'm not sure if its the narrower 64-67 rear or not. I changed over to a Chevy 12 bolt in my Buick with no issues other than changing the rear Ujoint.

Matt will shoot you straight, he knows his stuff :TU:
