I was reading in a chilton's book that the full size olds had as an option the 4.1 litre V6 as an optional engine .Now it this is true does this engine (or the 3.8) have the same motor mounts as the 350 ? Or am i going to have to fab everything like the 455 Camaro .Have a good one and talk to you later. Al baker 455 Camaro
As far as I know, the 4.1 V6 is a punched over 3.8L V6. Which is to say that they are externally identical. In fact, the 4bbl manifold I have on my 3.8L came from a 4.1L. The motor mounts and exhaust setup should be identical between the two motors.
