John csordas jrs 78 skyhawk racecar is for sale. Car can be bought as a roller or turn key ready to go 8.90. Car has been a multi event winner over the years. has a 494 stage 3 motor with coan converter on a powerglide trans with 30 passes. 12 bolt rear. Complete chromoly chassis all glass except roof and small section of the quarter panels. Removable and tilt front end. Weighs 2400 with driver. Plenty of video and pics of the car on this website and others. Engine is complete but has lots of run time with no signs of failure. Approx 600 passes. Engine made 740 horse when first built. Chassis certifed to 8.50. Minor additions to go to 7.50 if wanted. 6al ignition, delay box, rear coil overs, 4 wheel disc, ultrabell, etc. Car is ready to go. Would recommend a new parachute as i have never pulled it. also have engine plates for smallblock chevy.
494 stock crank, aluminum rod, stage 3 heads ported, stefs 10 qt pan, custom headers with 4 inch borla mufflers. Crank trigger, sfi balancer and flywheel. No expense spared when needed.

Only selling because i am crazy. Lol. Otherwise it will be fitted for the procharger setup and go no time racing.
Car is priced very fair. Delivery can be arranged and worked out. I do not want any hard feelings with this transaction. I have nothing to hide. Whoever purchases the car i want to be extremely happy with it as my family and i have been with it. Lots of great racing memories with this car.

Asking 16,500. Located in ny. Car also for sale locally so i will keep updates if not board members as to not break the rules.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

I second that. Can hardly duplicate just the engine for that $$.

    Steve,
Trust me it was not my doing back then! I dealt with an engine builder originally that ordered the pan & that was just the first of many lessons I learned the hard way back then.

I looked real hard at bringing it to Ohio! Gave the wife a full sales pitch and everything! Unfortunately, the car itself isn't so much a problem, but everything that'd need to go along with it puts it just out of my reach at the moment. Unless Santa wants to bring me a few extra G's....

Good grief, you are giving that car away. Who wants to give me a loan?
