I have a 1978 buick Le Sabre Custom 4-door for sale. Southest Minnesota. 350 v8, white in Color, tH350, 2.41 GEARS, Red cloth Interior. I planned on restoring this car but no longer have the time or resouces to do so. Here are the problems with the car: no tailights (bad wiring harness) , turn, backup, and brake lights still work. Engine has good compression but oil leaks from just about every gasket, esp rear main. Needs a upper trasmission cooler line. Trunk seal leaks bad. Choke out of adjustment but car always starts and runs fines after warm-up. A/C doesn't work, heater works only on lower 3 speeds, Tires are pretty good yet, over 50 % of trad left. Body isn't too rusty yet, not bad at all for a '78. just starting around the "ventiports" and a little on bottoms of doors. Floor and frame is clean and solid. transmission shifts smooth as silk. Except for the common sagging headliner the interior is nearly perfect, no fading, no cracks. All chrome parts and trim are there, including front and rear bumpers which are both solid. For someone looking for parts on a '77-'79 Le Sabre, this is a cheap find, let me tell you the price is right. Two more weeks and this thing is going to the scrap yard if not sold.
