i found a 77 350 that i was thinking of picking up..its complete.. not sure if it runs or not.. i was wondering if the 77 block would be compatible with everything from my 71 350?.. like the heads? i will be putting in a TA 212 cam , TA stage 1 intake, and other parts like rods, springs, rockers and arms... pretty much just the heads... would they work?

I can tell you that the crank is not the same.I have a brand new std/std crank that I was planning on putting in a 68-71 350 but the flexplate holes do not match up I also got pistons with new rings and heads for the same.I am not positive of the year of the parts but they are light blue.My guess 75-79 area.

I tried to bolt a 70 flex plate on this crank and none of the holes lined up no matter how I turned it.It is too bad because the guy that I got it from overhauled it to put in a Jeep and get this, stripped the main bearing cap bolts. He threw in brand new main and rod bearings new pistons with rings, headsand all of the bolts for it.Irebuilt my 70 motor and the best I could get on the crank is .010/.010.This is marked std/std.Thought maybe someday I'd get use for it but might just sell it.
