Hello I am Job from the Netherlands and I have a 77 Regal.

The car haves a stock 350 engine, so am I correct that this engine has less HP because of the emission laws???????? :Do No:

What can I do to give this engine his original HP back?
Its not my intension to ripe down the engine to the bone. :blast:
Does a new cam and intake helps?

    Greeting Job

    Greetings to you Job,

You sure got a lot of interesting hoses on that 350. Does it run on an alternate fuel? If you are seeking performance gains, a new higher performance Cam works great. However, the stock intake allready on your engine is likely to be your best bet. Pre-emission intakes may be better, but I don't know your vehicle laws. A properly recurved distributor will be your best improvement for the least money.

Your Regal looks very nice and the underhood area looks like a low-mileage original car :TU:

    He's got it on LPG.

I run a 3.8 Rover making 300bhp on LPG :TU:

LPG? Sorry not familiar with that. I'd say the cam will be a huge help as the cams were very mild from stock, if you ever have the heads off then get them milled down to increase compression. Use a pre-smog stock intake if you are allowed. Good looking Car!

LPG meens......... liquified petroleum gas. :Smarty: :Smarty:

Its a low budget kind of gas in Europe en special in the Netherlands because
    a lower tax then petrol.
There is almost no difference in how the engine runs and the car is driving.
Only your trunk is almost useless with a big lpg tank. :)

    Car runs about 77500 miles ( 125000 KM )

The hoses are for heating up the evaporator ( I hope I used a good translation) , that thing turns hipressure liquid into lowpressure gas.

Cant you use 10.25 pistons with LPG?

    I don't no what 10.25 meens.

LPG is no problem for big or small blocks or a higer compression.

The only good installation for a yank is from Imco, a big engine needs a big LPG flow.

The engine has the stock US emision parts on it and I believe the same engine from '73 has more HP then the 76 77 cars.

There are no special emision laws for this kind of cars in the Netherlans.
The engine is the same as used in the US.

10.25 to 1 is the high compresion ratio pistons.
They make more power than sy 9.0 to 1
