I recently picked up a 10-bolt out of a 75-76' Pontiac Ventura. I plan on swapping it for the original rear in my 54' Special. I want to use a tri-4link set up. But recently i have seen posts on other sites that say the housing of some 10-bolts is cast and you can not weld a tri-link to them :eek2: . Is this true and would this rear end be cast or steel? o No: How do I tell? I don't want to purchase the wrong kit. ou: Please help! Thanks, Mike
