Here is a pic of my red Lesabre, it's much cheaper to buy them in this condition than try to do a complete restoration.
Yes we had to cut in the cornering lights but they turned out great.
My white Lesabre is the most optioned buick I have seen, it has every option except for the colored fuel consumption gauge, tilt, teloscopic, parade boot, lower door panel courtesy lights, even a block heater :TU:

That is after he welded the metal and used fiberglass filler instead of bondo. I was told that bondo has a tendency to bubble up through the paint after several years but fiberglass doesnt. So I took a picture of the fiberglass for that purpose.

Not trying to be a pill here, but I wouldn't accept that type of work on my car, I would want fresh metal welded in then, a small amount of filler used to make it smooth. I had rust in the same area and that's what my body guy did.
The trunk should be replaced for one with no rust, it's way to expensive to fix that properly and it looks like he blasted the whole engine compartment with incorrect gloss black, painting absolutley everything.
I would contact another bodyman and get a second opinion

That fiber glass is good stuff, but its still a short cut for sub par metal work. Ive used it before like that though  Lasted 3 years driving summer and winter, sold the car and last i saw it was still holding up perfect. you just have to make sure you use it on a 100% clean surface and apply it on a dry day with no humidity.

I must have forgot to add the picture but there is fresh metal underneath the fiberglass. he left no pin hole or cut-out unattended. For whatever reason, he always spreads the fiberglass resin on thick, and grinds/smoothes it down after it dries. Trust me I saw the patches with my own eyes.

Here she is after a lot of aggravation and money spent. Still a few minor details before she is complete.
