Morning guys, Anyone has a part number for front upper as well as lower control arms on a 75 Electra? Or perhaps telling me which GM cars has the same front and lower control arms? I have put QA1's coilover conversion system on the rear + trailing arms. I'll be doing the same on the front this year, but was also thinkering with the idea of replacing the control arms as well. Thank you
The Electra is a C-body car, but suspension parts from B-body cars like the LeSabre, Caprice or Delta Eighty-Eight also fit.
The E-Body (Riviera, Eldorado, and Toronado) also shares suspension components with the B & C platforms. These aftermarket control arms will purportedly improve handling: https://southsidemachineperformance...ssm-stage-1-front-end-kit-gm-b-body-1971-1977 https://www.globalwest.net/impala-c...-77-78-79-80-81-82-83-84-85-86-87-88-89-.html Lowers "designed specifically for use with QA1 coilovers": https://www.speedwaymotors.com/QA1-...ower-Control-Arms-71-76-GM-B-Body,498541.html
I decided to go with SSM for the upper control arms. It arrived with a pair of QA1's ultimate ball joints. Very nice pieces, it's been great working with these guys. I'll finally be installing : SSM upper control arms with QA1's balljoint Lower control arms will remain stock with new ball joints QA1 adjustable coilovers in the front (already have these in the rear) QA1 front sway bar QA1 rear sway bar Well, that 75 Electra is turning into a heavy "slow" pro touring car lol...
