Just aquired this car over the weekend with intentions of putting a 70' 455 in it, going through my books I noticed no one seems to be carrying any motor mounts, headers, springs or anything really for this swap. Would like to talk to someone who has been through this type of swap before and at least get some some kind of direction as to where to start, Some of you may have seen a green 72 post skylark w/a GS hood, (very clean, and runs even harder) that I saw at Norwalk this year. and previous GS Nats. My intentions are to baisically, end up with a car of that caliber and use its "wolf in sheeps clothing format". Any help with info on this would be appreciated. Thanks
No headers. To the best of my knowledge, no headers are available for the Apollo in 350 or 455. I'm having my manifolds ported which should make for a fairly big improvement.
74 GSx two members racing in GSE have this combo . Check in the thread on GSE and ask there . I hope this helps .
There is a guy by the name of Rod Hendrekson. You probly can find him on the net somwhere if you search. He races a blown methenal appolo. Ask him.
