Hello, I have a real nice rear bumper here from MOntana, has no rust at all all bolts easy unloosen. rubber is all there. even license plate sheild. sell in Minneapolis, pickup, or you arrange a truck pickup. Will be unwrapped so arrange to be taken to UPS or etc to have them wrap and ship. Asking 400.00, craig
Hello, I know how hard these are to find, most are so bubbled out from rust. Found a good way to fix originals, though. If taken off bumper remove steel totally from rear of rubber (studs in steel), now go get a strip of copper or stainless, and braze studs in same locations rearward on strips. The rubber can be set in hot sun to soffen and straighten, or placed in oven at low heat 175 or so and let rubber soften out waves. Make sure you DA steel or copper real well to take on the Apoxy two part glue and set back into rubber. bolt on bumper. now if white strips are missing. This is little harder. I have used vinyl sheeting and ripped down pcs, and glued in, hard to tell difference except on corners there is a bit of seam after gluing in. The bumper I have here is too nice to separate from it, I did see a car locally with rubber at yard. will see if can get off, let me know if you have bumper guards or not too this is a big issue on type of rubber . craig
Thanks Craig. My car doesn't have the original horiz rubber/steel backing at all, so I need the whole thing. Interested in that piece you saw at the yard, if you can snag it! My car does have bumper guards, although they're not installed at the moment. Best regards, Steve.
Will go later in week , we are finally warming a bit, was 20 below zero last week, today is 20 +, this week is to be 31 or so, better. cold steel sucks, Will check on guards, think it did have it. took one perfect backup off it. trunk lock, hood badge, wheel centers nice, many tools in the trunk. will get back as soon as can get to yard 65 miles out. thx
