    have you talked to owner?

Hi John have you talked to the seller I talked to him twice this week and he said reserve was 15K but he will entertain any reasonable offer, I think 13-13.5k buys it as he emailed me aswell twice to say make me a offer? I've been chewing on it aswell but haven't bitten down yet. Bill

    shame on us

I think once somebody bites the bullet and buy's this sucker, everyone is going to kick themselve's

Wheel's can make or break a car. You can take a car that's a turd and make it look good with a nice set of wheel's, and at the same time you can take an otherwise nice car, and make it look like a turd with the wrong style/size wheel and tire combo. :Smarty:

Picture this white 73 with a brand new set of 15x7 rally's wrapped with some good size 255-60-15 B.F.G.'s, that and a nice mandrel bent 2 1/2" exhaust and this car is going to make everyone who passed on it sorry, mark my word's :Smarty: :Smarty: :Smarty:

Uh-Oh, I think I just talked myself into it :Dou: :Dou: :Dou:

    Plane ticket :Do No:
Make a post in "The Bench" to see if we have a Nevada member who will be "your eye's"?

When I inquired on this car a few years ago, the guy sent me pics of it when it was being restored(repainted is a better term) This was not some rusty old turd that was patched back together, looked like a lifelong rustfree Nevada car, rustfree and the year 1973 don't usually get used in the same sentence, if you know 73's, most are rot boxes.

That's one rare car I'd almost consider trading my '70 GS455 for! Hope someone here gets it. Agree in full that anyone on the fence on this car right now will have major regrets for not making an offer or pulling the trigger.

I'm one of them. I'm thinking about making an offer even though the car would have to sit in a condo parking lot and it would be a long time before I could give it the restoration it deserves.

    Exactly!

Yep, didn't pay too much, just bought it too soon. Very True!
I passed on this car 2 years ago when he wanted $12k, now in another 2-4 years when the price is 17-20k, we are going to be saying,"man I offered him $14,500, but he's firm at $16k" :Smarty:

The higher the price's go on 70-72's, the price's on the other years will go up also just due to supply and demand, coupled with the fact that alot of buyer's are going to be priced out of the market for a 70-72.

We're going to be kicking ourselve's :Dou:

So are there considerable differences between a 73 and a 74 performance-wise? What about the body and interior? I dont see very many74's on the stage 1 registry--they must be pretty rare. :TU:

    It may be gone

Someone may have bought it. The dealer's ad for it is no longer good.
