On the Slaon Documents there is an option number 4-1. In the notes it reads "Option does not appear in documentation provided by Buick Motor Division". Does anyone have a clue what 4-1 means? o No: Thanks.
Can you be a little more specific where the unknown code appears on the sloan info. If you list all of the options listed it may help if the unknown option is related to the other options in some way.. :TU:
On the order sheet you have category A through Z and then category 1. Category 1 is trailer hitch. No other category 2 through 9. On the Sloan Doc under the last section "Accesories and Options" you have category A through Z and 1 through 9. Under the category "4" there is a "1". Here are the other options. Thanks. I was talking to Duane H. today about this and he found a code "41" that represented a "sliding roof". That would make sense with the Z9 "sun roof" option. Duane, can you confirm this? Is your car a Sun Coupe or does it just have a sun roof?
Eic, My 72 assembly manual lists 41 as a; Roof-Sun Vinyl-Man Folding (Fisher & GMAD Installed) That is exactly how it was written. Now this is from a 72 book. I do not have a 73 book, so this is as close as I can get. Duane
The car is a Sun Coupe with the manual sliding roof, half vinyl top. So I guess that settles it. The option code 4-1 is redundant in this case. Thanks for solving the mystery Duane and thanks for your help Mike. Good detective work. :beer
